- Recycling collection is included in garbage fees.
- Successful recycling reduces garbage! You may be able to lower garbage costs by ordering less garbage service.
- Friends of Recycling increase recycling success. We encourage you to identify a resident as a "friend of recycling" to distribute guidelines, monitor recycling containers, and answer recycling questions.

Recycling promotion memo. You can customize, copy and distribute a recycling promotion memo to new and existing residents to encourage them to recycle. Please note that there is a blank where you can insert the name of your resident "friend of recycling".

Recycle Container Options
Recycling containers are available in 35, 64 and 90 gallon carts and one yard to eight yard front load containers.
Extra Recycling: Place clean recyclables that do not fit in your cart or dumpster in a 35-gallon can with handles or cardboard boxes (limit 2'x3'). Mark "Recycle". If you frequently have extra recyclables, please call and increase your recycle container size.
Containers Out by 7 am
Collection times may vary as routing schedules change, and so it is very important to have all containers at the street and/or dumpsters available by 7 am. We appreciate your cooperation.
Place two feet apart from other containers and five feet from any structure with lid facing street.
Place containers out in such a way that does not restrict the reasonable and safe use of the street, sidewalk, or bicycle lanes by pedestrians, bicyclists, and automobiles.
Remove containers from public property no later than 24 hours after your collection day.
