All computers, TV's, laptops and monitors are accepted for recycling at the Kennewick Transfer Station.

WM Northwest Sharps Disposal

Needles need to be in a sharps or puncture-resistant container with a label noting that the container holds sharps, needles, etc. Sharps containers are accepted at the Kennewick Transfer Station at no charge. Please check in at the scale house for direction on where to dispose of your containers.

WM Northwest Paint Disposal / Recycling

We do not accept paint here at the Kennewick Transfer Station for recycling.
However, we can accept it for disposal IF the paint is completely dried out.
Paint Hardner can be purchased at a local paint store or kitty litter can be used to help dry out the paint.

WM Northwest Hazardous Waste

We do not accept hazardous waste here at the Kennewick Transfer Station. The county will usually host a Househould Hazardous Waste event twice a year. For more information please contact the Health Department or Benton County Solid Waste.
