Waste collection rates are based on the size garbage cart that you select. Recycling and compost service is included with weekly collection. Garbage sizes offered are 10, 20, 35, 64 and 96 gallon WM roll carts.
WM observes three annual holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day (Dec. 25), and New Year's Day (Jan. 1). All other holidays will not affect your collection schedule.
Weekday holidays will delay collection by one day for the remainder of the week. For example, if a holiday falls on a Thursday, Thursday customers will be collected on Friday and Friday customers will be collected on Saturday.
Storm Recovery
Update for Kirkland residential customers: You can now include a total of up to eight additional bags of yard waste at no extra cost beginning Thursday, November 21, through Saturday, November 30.
The total number of extra bags has been increased from five to eight as a result of the high wind in the area.
To ensure collection, materials must be placed in:
Paper yard waste bags (available at home and garden stores)
32-gallon containers weighing no more than 65 pounds. Containers must have handles and lids, and should be labeled "Yard"
Bundles tied with sisal twine (limited to four feet by two feet)
