And just a few paper items that are not recyclable:

  • Food-soiled paper, such as greasy pizza boxes and soggy ice cream cartons. We can’t make new products out of wet and dirty paper!
  • Napkins and paper towels. The paper fibers are too small to be used again in new products.
  • Hard back books – donate them instead!

A couple more ways you can recycle...

  • Place recycling bins throughout your house. Then you can collect more paper from places like your home office, the kids’ playroom, and your bedroom or bathroom.
  • Keep your recyclables loose in the bin. Don’t bag them!

And one more thing we just wanted you to know...

  • Recycling a bit more paper will make a huge difference. Thanks! Again!
