Spokane Valley, Deer Park, Liberty Lake and Spokane County
Due to inclement weather, service may be later or earlier than usual. Please have your container accessible throughout the day.
Severe Weather Policy:
Twice Regular Amount Accepted Next Regular Collection Day* in Most WM Service Areas
If weather conditions prevent collection of garbage or recycling, please remove the containers from the street.
Commercial and Multi-family Weather-Delayed Collection: Service as soon as conditions allow. Priority service to locations such as hospitals and restaurants, where public health is a high priority.
Service Delay Priorities:
- Highest service priority to establishments such as hospitals, health clinics and restaurants, where the retrieval of garbage is critical to public health and safety.
- Commercial accounts serviced as soon as safety allows.
- Residential garbage and recycling collected on the next regularly scheduled service day unless otherwise announced. (Up to twice as much material accepted at no extra charge to make up for postponed service.)
