Service Delays:
Waste Management is committed to providing reliable collection service for all customers. However, circumstances such as unsafe roads may interfere with regular service schedules on occasion.
Standard Weather Service Delay Procedure:
Twice Regular Amount Accepted Next Regular Collection Day: If weather conditions prevent collection of your garbage or recycling, please remove containers from the street. Up to twice your regular amount of garbage and/or yard waste will be accepted at no additional charge on your next regularly scheduled collection day for each container ** unless otherwise specified for your area on this website. There is no limit on the amount of clean recycling you can put out for collection.
**Every Other Week Recycling and Yard Waste Collected Two (2) weeks after Missed Collection:
If your recycling or yard waste is regularly collected every other week, the missed material will be collected on your next scheduled day for that container, (two (2) weeks from the missed collection), unless you are otherwise notified.
- Extra garbage should be put in securely tied plastic bags placed next to the garbage container.
- Extra recycling should not be put in plastic bags, but in plastic bins, cardboard boxes (2x2x2 ft. limit) or heavy paper bags placed next to the recycling container.
