Collection Information
Residents have weekly collection for garbage and every other week recycling. Yard and food debris are collected weekly from subscribers from March - November and monthly the first full week of the month December - February.
All other holidays will not affect your collection schedule.
Weekday holidays will delay collection by one day for the remainder of the week. For example, if a holiday falls on a Thursday, Thursday customers will be collected on Friday and Friday customers will be collected on Saturday.
For those times when you have more waste than your garbage cart can handle, the Annual Curbside Cleanup Program is your solution. WM and the City of Spokane Valley have partnered to provide all single-family residents with the Annual Curbside Cleanup Program for bulky waste. All WM residential customers are eligible for one "no charge" collection per calendar year.
