    If weather conditions prevent safe collection, we will announce service cancellations on local radio and television stations and on our Collection Delay Bulletin Board.

    If residential garbage, recycling or yard waste is not collected due to weather, please remove containers from the street. Up to twice as much material will be accepted with no extra charge on the next regularly scheduled collection day for each container not emptied unless otherwise posted here. Credit is not given for collection delayed because of weather.


    Curbside Collection


    Waste Management carts are
    required for all collection to make service safer and more efficient.

    Gray Garbage Carts! Garbage rates vary according to cart size. . 

    Blue Recycling Carts!

    Recycling is provided to garbage subscribers at no additional cost and is collected every other week.

    • All-in-one Recycling - No more sorting: All recyclables are collected together in your blue recycling cart.
    • More recyclables: Milk cartons; freezer boxes, and all plastic bottles, jugs, and dairy tubs will be accepted in your blue recycling cart.

     


    Yard waste is collected from subscribers:

  • Every Wednesday April - Oct.
  • The first Wednesday of the month Nov. - Mar.

    Some recycling dos & don'ts

    Combined bottles, cans, paper and cardboard collected from residences and businesses, as well as debris from construction and demolition projects are sorted at Waste Management's Cascade Recycling Center in Woodinville. The center employs advanced technologies from the US and Europe, and ships the sorted commodities to domestic and Pacific Rim markets for use in new products.
